The Bison ZipCrank system features a front crank design that allows for infinite height adjustment from 7½′ to 10′ with the simple turn of a removable crank handle. Available with 4″ or 5″ heavy-duty poles, the ZipCrank delivers strength, reliability, and ease of use in any backyard or driveway setup.
Each system includes a competition-quality TruGlass tempered glass backboard—available in clear or smoked glass—providing players with a realistic rebound experience. Every backboard is constructed with an aluminum frame just like those in the gym, ensuring long-lasting durability. The front crank design also allows the ZipCrank to be mounted closer to fences, walls, or other obstacles than rear-adjust systems, making it both space-efficient and versatile. Bison’s Innovations for Basketball Systems:
SafeStuff – Bison has always included a safety pole pad at no charge with every residential system ever sold. Player safety should not be an option.
DuraSkin – In the late 1980’s Bison developed a dense molded bolt-on backboard padding system that was durable for indoor and outdoor use. Often imitated, but never equaled, DuraSkin is available on any rectangular residential backboard. Backboard padding is required at all levels of official high school and college play to protect players from backboard contact.
Flex Goal – Bison flex goals are designed with many of the same durability features of our competition breakaway goals but require less pressure to release. This improves player safety and rim life. Flex goals will hold up outdoors in any climate.
Powder Coated Finish – Super thick textured powder coated finish is over twice as thick as other powder coated finishes on the market and far superior to wet spray paint systems. In addition to beauty and durability, powder coating is environmentally and employee friendly, without the hazardous waste and toxic fumes common with the wet paint or dipped PVC processes.
